This is a DnD novelization project!

A history of this project...
In theory, I could take you back almost 25 years ago, since that's when I was gifted another brother (I wanted a sister, it's fine). That's to say, these shenanigans were borne from years of sibling jokes, a pinch of love, and generally having to deal with one another.
Now that we're adults, and scattered across the U.S., we wanted to see each other more. Our weekly(-ish) chats turned into a crazy DnD game, and as a writer, I'd never been more inspired to make it a Very Real Thing that others could read. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The Great War is upon us, and our buddy thieves would very much like to be excluded from this general narrative, thanks.
Halfling Seraphina Tealeaf and dwarf VM have bigger concerns, like stealing one shard of the prized Fractured Jewel from the chancellor. If they can find one more — maybe two — they'll live so rich they'd never need to thieve again. They could retire!
Of course, they wouldn't, though. Once a thief, always a thief. Especially with the growing tensions between the realms and the upcoming Fireball Festival. It's sure to be a shitshow, and VM and Seraphina live for the shitshow...they might even be the ones to start it!
Follow the wild antics of our buddy thieves as they steal from the rich, give to themselves, and occasionally help others out of the goodness of their hearts (when it also benefits them).
One thing is abundantly clear: VM and Seraphina Tealeaf are loyal only to money. Oh, and each other.

People are RAVING about our buddy thieves...
A lot comes to my mind when making an all-time regret list. Topping it might just be attempting to DM for these two characters masquerading as real people. And the characters they've made are even worse.
Pro tip: if you're DMing for siblings that love to sow chaos in real life, don't let them become a duo of thieves in your game.
What we've got here is a volatile combination of personalities that clash in a beautiful pyrotechnical display that is equal parts mesmerizing and concerning.
I wouldn't ask for anything else.

Much like my character, I'm drunk most of the time while playing. Though we're both short kings, VM and I couldn't be more different. He allowed me to be a ridiculous, arrogant, depraved, wild turdbasket, which couldn't be further from myself...you can ask my siblings.
